The Cambridge City Council yesterday passed a resolution in tribute to the memory of the late Jerome D. Greene '96. In a rising vote, the Council unanimously commended Greene as "a good friend whose outstanding character as Secretary to the University (Corporation) reflected high honor on that institution."
According to the resolution, Greene's "high-minded sense of duty to his position and to the public, his kindness, understanding and wholesome good fellowship moulded a close and better relationship between the University and the City of Cambridge."
