The fifth annual Kids Days at Phillips Brooks House will be held on Saturday, April 25, Chairman Walter W. Birge III '61, announced yesterday. The day was carefully chosen so as not to conflict with Spring Weekend, Jubilee Weekend, religious holidays and Patriots' Day.
Highlighting the program for approximately 1000 kids and 200 Harvard and Radcliffe volunteers will be tours of the University, a track meet, boat rides on the Charles, a talent show and movies in New Lecture Hall, and swimming at the I.A.B. for boys. For the first time, girls will not have special activities and must tag along with the boys, except in swimming, of course.
Kids Day represents the culmination of a year's work for the Social Service Committee. Cooperation is received from hundreds of people--from Dean Watson's office, to the University police, to the H.A.A., to the extra volunteers still needed by P.B.H.
