Interested Faculty members will become, "affiliates" of the Liberal Union under provisions of a projected plan announced last night by president James M. Bardeen '60.
Bardeen explained that the HLU hopes to encourage "active participation" of Faculty members in all phases of the club's activities.
In addition, Bardeen pointed out, Faculty members represent a "source of highly informed opinion" which would be "invaluable" as a supplement to undergraduate discussion groups held by the club.
Since the HLU is a chapter of Campus Americans for Democratic Action, closer association with Faculty members of Cambridge ADA will also result from the contemplated changes, Frederic Freilicher '60, HLU treasurer, added.
