Work on Clinic To Begin Soon

Construction on a $300,000 research laboratory for the Forsyth Children's Dental Clinic will probably begin next month, Director John B. Macdonald announced yesterday. Staff members of the Clinic serve on the Faculty of the School of Dental Medicine, and the two organizations cooperate in research and training.

"The new laboratory is only the first step in the significant growth we expect over the next few years," Macdonald added. Plans for the two-story laboratory provide for an addition of three floors when necessary.

"I anticipate closer connections between the Clinic and our School in the future, with more students receiving training there," Roy O. Greep, Dean of the School for Dental Medicine, commented yesterday.
