Two Northwestern University debaters edged an M.I.T. team Saturday night, by a judges' vote of 4-3, to win first place in the sixth annual Harvard Invitational Forensic Tournament.

Robert Hillman of M.I.T. was voted outstanding individual speaker in the competition which drew 200 debaters form 68 colleges.
