Galbraith, Harris Will Take Posts

John Kenneth Galbraith, profesor of Economics, will become Paul M. Warburg Professor of Economics next July 1. He will succeed Gottfried Haberler, who was recently named the University's first Galen L. Stone Professor of International Trade.

Galbraith joined the University faculty in 1948, and he was appointed professor of Economics the next year. As Warburg Professor, he will continue to serve in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the School of Public Administration.

Harris Elected

At its first organizational meeting, the Massachusetts Board of Regional Community Colleges recently elected Seymour E. Harris '20, Lucius N. Littauer Professor of Political Economy, as acting chairman.
