The Kentucky Wildcats were back yesterday as the country's No. 1 college basketball team after an absence of one week. They may even be headed for a berth in the NCAA Basketball Tournament again and a chance for a fifth national championship.

Carol Heiss Takes Lead
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Feb. 24--Ice queen Carol Heiss, poised and precise, swept into a strong lead Tuesday toward her fourth straight women's title in the opening phase of the World's Figure Skating Championships.
The 19-year-old coed from Ozone Park, N.Y., outclassed her chief rival, Hanna Walter of Austria, and 13 others in tracing the first three of six compulsory--or school--figures.
Miss Walter, the European title-holder was second, followed by a surprising college freshman from Temple City, Calif., Barbara Roles, 17.
