Outstanding individual stars combined with exceptional depth as New York University's undefeated fencing team romped over the Crimson, 21-6, in the I.A.B. on Saturday. Five members of the N.Y.U. squad went undefeated, including Olympic Squad members Howard Glazer and Mike Dasaro.
In a close first round, Larry Johnson and Michael Woolf won the team's lone foil and sabre bouts, and Bruce Parker and David Schwartz won in epee. Then N.Y.U. exploded for 16 consecutive wins before Parker and Schwartz upset N.Y.U.'s first two epee men to achieve the Crimson's only respectable showing.
