At least three other University faculties, following the vote of Arts and Sciences yesterday, plan quick action on the NDEA loyalty issue. Today, the Graduate School of Education will discuss three alternative resolutions, prepared for the meeting by a five-man faculty committee.
Tomorrow, both the Business and the Divinity School faculties will debate the issue; and the latter wil probably vote immediately.
The Law School faculty plans no action on the matter, said vice-Dean Toepfer yesterday. Although several law professors have "individually and personally taken stands and made statements," he explained, the faculty is not "formally" concerned, because the Law School itself does not now receive aid under the NDEA loyalty provision, and does not expect to.
