Massachusetts Hall took first place in yesterday's freshman intramural cross country meet with 45 points as Fred Churchill of Massachusetts won the race in 9:03.2. Pete Bryant of Matthews North came in second, followed by Al Maher of Matthews South.

Matthews South took second with 56, followed by Greenough, 72; Hollis, 81; and Weid South, 82.
