Approximately 40 applicants for Quincy House received formal acceptances during the Christmas recess. Tentative room rates, based on the 1958-59 price schedule, have been determined and were included in the letters of acceptance.

There will be six levels in the room price scale, according to Arthur D. Trottenberg '48, Manager of Operating Services. "The rents in Quincy will be condents now paying low prices will continue to do so."

Most of the rates will be concentrated in the $185, $210, and $230 brackets, with some students paying slightly more or less. The proposed price scale is subject to readjustment yand rents will be raised if the existing rates are increased, John M. Bullitt '43, Master of Quincy House, said in a letter to the successful applicants.

Rates for all rooms in the Houses during 1959-60 will be definitely established early in February, Dean Watson stated yesterday.
