New Gen Ed Course To Begin in Spring

Kenneth B. Murdock, chairman of the Committee on General Education, has released the official announcement of Humanities 140, "The Literature of Worldliness." The new Spring term course will be taught by Louis Kronenberger, Abbott Lawrence Professor of English, and enrollment is limited to 30 students.

The announcement describes the course as "a discussion of writings--philosophic or realistic, ironic or satiric in tone--that portray and evaluate the social scene in terms of attitudes and behavior, motives and morality.
