Board Rates Rise To $590 per Year; Hurlburt Appointed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The undergraduate board rate will rise again this fall to a new high of $590 per academic year, a $40 increase over last year's rate.

At the same time, the University announces the appointment of C. Graham Hurlburt to the position of Administrative Assistant to the Director of Dining Halls. Hurlburt was the manager of the Faculty Club.

This new role will come as something of a change for him, as his previous association with the Faculty Club represented a much more sedate and gastronomically high-class position.

However, Hurlburt's tour of duty with the Army should serve as at least a feeble approximation to University dining conditions. While at Fort Bragg he was assistant director of the Officers' mess which served 3,500 members.
