Graduating Men Will Receive Commissions At ROTC Ceremonies

The second annual joint ROTC commissioning will be held this morning at 11:45, when 107 graduating seniors become officers in the United States Armed Forces.

The ceremony will be held immediately after Class Day exercises in Sever Quadrangle, and will include an address by Charles A. Coolidge, Senior Fellow of Harvard University and Special Assistant to the Secretary of Defense, who will also present commissions to the new second lieutenants and ensigns.

Fifty-two seniors will receive commissions from the Army as second lieutenants; 41 seniors will receive commissions as ensigns, and eight as second lieutenants in the Marine Corps, from the Navy; and six will become second lieutenants in the Air Force.
