Six Crimson Golfers Enter Championship

The varsity golf team, hoping to bounce back from a 7-0 defeat suffered Wednesday at the hands of powerful Yale, will enter six players in the Eastern Intercollegiate championships at New Haven tomorrow. The tournament consists of 36 holes of medal play over a three-day period.

Al Steinert, who has played at number one for most of the season, will be the Crimson's strongest entry in the field. Also competing for the varsity will be Perry Driggs, Frank Dodge, Captain Warren Iliff, Bob David, and Frank Grindeman.

Last year the Crimson failed to place in the top ten, and the chances for a high finish in tomorrow's match are pretty bleak. Yale, Penn State, and Navy are the leading contenders for the team title.
