The Crimson tennis team finished a disappointing second to Yale in the New England Intercollegiate Championships this weekend, despite Dale Junta and Larry Sears' winning the doubles for the second straight year.
In the singles, which Junta had won the last two years, only one varsity player, Fred Vinton, reached the semifinals. The unseeded sophomore, however, lost in that round to Yale's Tom Treiberg, who had earlier upset Junta.
