Linotypes Smashed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Vandals broke into the Crimson Printing Company over the weekend. The Company occupies the lower floor of the CRIMSON building at 14 Plympton St.

University police discovered a broken window early Sunday morning, and left after finding that a knob had been broken from a combination safe.

Later yesterday it was discovered that the keyboards of all but one of the linotypes had been smashed, and that one of the machines for setting headlines had been tampered with.
