Crimson crews had a field day yesterday afternoon as they swept Amherst on the choppy Connecticut River. The Yardling second crew turned in the best time over the one mile course in outdistancing the Lord Jeff Freshmen by one-quarter of a mile. Considering the strong current, their 7:40 time was excellent.
The varsity third crew bested the Amherst varsity by half a length and the second string lightweights defeated the Lord Jeff J.V. crew by a scant 35 seconds.
