History and Literature has decided to reject all applicants who do not take today's language examination, William R. Taylor '42, chairman of the Board of Tutors, stated yesterday.
The examination, in a language of the student's choice, will be held this afternoon at 4 p.m. in New Lecture Hall. Scores on the examination will not be used as a determining factor for admission.
