Study and political action "to create awareness of the disarmament issue in the Harvard community" and "to influence the decisions of policy-makers" in the United States government, are planned by the Harvard-Radcliffe Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy.

The CSNP will urge creation of a permanent U.N. study commission on disarmament through petitions, communication with Senators and Representatives, and participation in Congressional hearings.
