Candidates for the Kampus Kutie Kontest are scheduled to leave this evening for two days of intensive training at a near-by cheerleading camp. The cheerleaders will be transported to and from the camp by amored car.
The names of many nominees have been kept secret for fear of prejudicing the public before the girls have attained their peak efficiency. However, a few nominations have been announced. The Harvard Dramatic Club is sponsoring Liliane Solmsen '60. Miss Solmsen has spent the last two weeks in the Radcliffe gym. "I'll do my best," she promised.
Anita Bridgeman '60 is being supported by the Rugby Club, and the Glee Club has nominated Penelope Demos '60. The Harvard Young Democrats have submitted the name of Enid Bok '60.
Jane Fletcher '59 has nominated herself, but has declined to attend the camp. "I'll just practice at home," she said. The member of the Fly Club nominated by the Spee Club has withdrawn "for personal reasons."
