House football teams from either Winthrop or Dunster will face an aggregation from Yale's Jonathan Edwards House here Friday afternoon. The game will be only one of 13 intramural contests against the Elis.
At present Winthrop holds a one-half game lead, but they must either beat or tie Dunster tomorrow to clinch the championship.
If comparative scores provide any true estimate of a team's worth, however, the Puritans should have a fairly easy time winning. Both teams have faced Kirkland recently: Winthrop trounced them by three touchdonws while the best Dunster could manage was a tie.
Other touch football games Friday will pit Houses against their traditional Eli rivals. Dunster, if they lose the championship will face Berkeley; if Winthrop is defeated is is slated to face Davenport.
Adams has sewed up the House soccer championship with a 10-2-1 record, Friday afternoon, they will oppose either Jonathan Edwards or Peirson, currently battling for the Eli intramural title.
