'Hacker Cup' Contest

Two intersquad races on Tuesday will be the last appearances of the heavy and lightweight crews on the Charles River this winter. Ten boats will be featured in this year's version of the annual classic.

Rowing for the traditional Hacker's Cup, a plain china cup and saucer, four lightweight crews will row the Henley distance over the Charles River Basin course at 10:30 a.m.

Four Crimson heavyweight crews plus two from the Union Boat Club will row a three-quarters of a mile course downstream at 11 a.m. The best vantage point for viewing the races will be the Mass. Ave. bridge at the finish line.

Each eight has had a week to train for "the season's toughest race."
