8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
"We will institute a taxi service between the Business School Parking Lot and Harvard Square as soon as enough students indicate that they want it," Arthur D. Trottenberg '48, Manager of Operating Services, stated yesterday.
"At the present time," he continued, "there are not enough applicants because many of the spaces in the Business School lot are empty." He quickly added, however, that this did not mean that the parking situation was any less acute this year than last. Trottenberg had no explanation for the decrease in use of the lot.
Trottenberg stated that the taxi service would be self-supporting, nothing that this type of project seemed an appropriate one for the Harvard Student Agencies. He emphasized that as yet there have been no concrete measures taken to carry out the plan.
