The freshman soccer team opens its season on the Business School Field today against Exeter. Minor injuries in the squad prevented Coach Carroll Getchell from announcing the starting lineup last night, and he will probably not make his final decisions until just before starting time at 3:30 p.m.
Coach Getchell is, in fact, concentrating more on next Wednesday's clash against the Tufts freshmen, and hopes to be able to rest up some of his semi-injured players tomorrow in preparation for the college opponents next week.
He described the injuries as "marginal cases," and said that it was impossible to tell whether the ailing men will be able to hold up during the game, although they worked out during practice yesterday.
The strength of the Exeter team is unknown. They were beaten by the Yale frosh, but have "bounced back" recently according to Getchell.
