The varsity soccer team added an unimpressive 1 to 0 win over Wesleyan yesterday to its 7-1 record as John Hedreen scored the lone goal of the game for the varsity late in the first period. The Cardinals, who have not won a game this year, actually outplayed the Crimson at some points in the contest and often threatened to tie the game.
Hedreen's goal was a head-in on a corner-kick by Larry Ekpebu. The Crimson goalie, Tom Bagnoli, was called on to make several outstanding saves late in the game when Wesleyan pounded the varsity goal. The Cardinals had been routed by Yale, 6 to 0.
