Lodge Will Speak

Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. '24, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will speak at the centennial celebration of the birth of Theodore Roovevelt '80 on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. in Sanders Theatre.

The theme of the address by Lodge will be "Theodore Roosevelt and America's World Responsibility." Elting E. Morison '32, Professor of Industrial History at M.I.T. and editor of "The Letters of Theodore Roosevelt" will speak on "Theodore Roosevelt and the Categorial Imperative."

Charles A. Coolidge '17, senior member of the Harvard Corporation, will preside over the festivities.

The celebration is being sponsored by the University and will be open to the public.
