Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Bidding for its most important victory of the season so far, a hopped-up varsity football team will take on Dartmouth at the Stadium this afternoon. Kickoff time is 2 o'clock.
The visitors are bringing to Cambridge the finest group of football players likely to appear here all fall. They have already defeated Pennsylvania and Brown in Ivy League play, and also Lafayette, a non-league opponent.
But perhaps the Indians' most impressive performance was a losing one. This came last week when they bowed to Holy Cross, 14-8, due to an ill-starred field-goal attempt that was partially blocked and then run back 80 yards for the winning touchdown. Holy Cross ranks among the strongest teams in the East this year.
On the basis of this excellent record, Dartmouth must be rated a solid two-touchdown favorite in this afternoon's contest. Still, the Crimson is physically and psychologically prepared for an allout effort this afternoon; and there are some "hunch-players" in the vicinity who have got that feeling that an upset may be in the making.
