Senator John F. Kennedy '40 has accepted an invitation to dine with the members of the Cambridge City Council in Macarelli's Restaurant when he campaigns here today. Members of the school committee will also be present at the dinner, which starts at 5:30.
Kennedy will pass through Harvard Square at 4:30 on his way to City Hall.
Another highlight of Kennedy's afternoon visit to Cambridge is a trip to the Jewish Community Center at 6:30. A public reception in the Hotel Commander at 8:00 rounds out his schedule.
Kennedy, a Democrat, is campaigning for his second term in the Senate.
