Godkin Lecture

President Emeritus James B. Conant '14 will begin his series of Godkin Lectures tonight at 8 p.m. in Sanders Theater. Conant, former United States Ambassador to West Germany, will discuss "Germany and Freedom--A Personal Appraisal."

The second and third talks in the series will be given on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and they will all be carried on WGBH-TV (channel 2) and rebroadcast later by WGBH-FM. Tonight, Conant's topic will be "Free Germany Reviews Its Past."
