The Radcliffe Student Council won second prize in a "best projects contest" at the 10th National Student Congress of the USNSA at the University of Michigan in August. Harvard's Student Council placed third.

A study evaluation poll on the merits of reading period gave the Annex second place for the best student government project begun in the past year and a half. The results of last spring's reading period questionnaires were submitted to the University's Committee on Educational Policy.

The Harvard Council ranked third for its survey of religion at the University, which was reported in Newsweek last year. Larry R. Johnson '58 received the third-place certificate for Harvard, while Susan Olsen '58 accepted Radcliffe's second-prize certificate.
