The Harvard XI lost to Haverford in cricket Saturday, 75 runs to 54. The Crimson was plagued by bad luck, as opening batsmen Barry Eastment and Monsoor Wharton-Ali went for six and nine runs, respectively.
In a rare occurrence, two other batsmen, captain Charlie Brower and Alan Gould, went scoreless. The Haverford attack was highlighted by a series of boundary hits, which count six runs each.
Standing close in, the Haverford players were able to take full advantage of two early Harvard mis-hits.
