Rides will be available at the Thayer Gate both this evening and Saturday for the Wellesley Theatre on the Green's production of Moliere's Bourgeois Gentilhomme.
The driving service, sponsored by the Office of Summer School Employment, will provide a combination Discount Ticket and transportation for 35% less than the regular fees.
Those wishing to attend the performance should sign up at the social office in Greys Hall before 4 p.m. this afternoon. They may obtain discount tickets there. The cars will leave Thayer Gate at 7 p.m.
Special trips to other theatres in the area may be sponsored later in the summer. One possibility, according to Bernard Wiseblatt, who is in charge of the service, is a Saturday afternoon trip to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Connecticut.
Trips will be available next week to the Wellesley performances of Shaw's Man and Superman. Additional unscheduled rides will be provided to groups of at least four people on days other than Thursdays and Saturdays--provided a request is submitted to Mrs. Clouser's office one day in advance of the proposed trip. The trips to Wellesley take approximately 25 minutes.
