A very strong series of conferences, two sponsored by the Summer School and one by the Graduate School of Education, will be launched next Monday when the Conference on Educational Administration begins a two day consideration of "Current Issues and their Educational Implications."

The following Monday, July 15, President emeritus James Bryant Conant, former Ambassabor to West Germany, will head the first Summer School Conference, "Teaching the Nature of Communism." This conference will continue through Wednesday, with Conant delivering a special public lecture Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in Sanders Theater on "Germany and the Defense of Europe."

The final conference will deal with Political Geography, beginning Monday, July 29. The title will be "Political Geography in the Modern World."

All three conferences will follow the same general format. Both public and closed sessions will be held, with a 75 cent admission charge being made at the public sessions of the two Summer School conferences to all who do not hold Summer School Privilege Cards.

First General Session of the Educational Administration Conference is scheduled to begin Monday at 2:15 p.m. in Baker 100. A symposium will follow at 3:15 p.m. Two more General Sessions are scheduled for the next day, the first at 9:15 a.m., and the last at 1:45 p.m.
