Griswold Announces Three Appointments

Dean Erwin N. Griswold has announced the appointment of three new professors of Law in the faculty of the Law School. They are: John P. Dawson, visiting professor; David R. Herwitz, assistant professor of Law; and Donald F. Turner, assistant professor of Law.

Dawson is professor of Law at the University of Michigan, and was Chief of the Middle East Division of the Foreign Economic Administration. He served as Director of the Foreign Trade Administration for the Greek government in 1947-8.

Herwitz is a former Teaching Fellow at the Law School, and joined the faculty in 1954. Turner also joined the faculty in 1954, and is an expert in anti-trust law and commercial law.
