University Gets Higgins Grant

The University received recently a grant of $390,000 from the income of the Eugene Higgins Scientific Trust for instruction and research in science. Similar amounts were granted to Columbia, Princeton and Yale.

Most of the University's share will be devoted to chemistry, physics and the medical sciences.
