Freshmen Face Debt Of $1400 for Jubilee

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman Jubilee Committee is apparently headed toward a deficit this year. A member of the committee reported last night that Jubilee expenses had run the Committee $1,400 into the red.

Lionel Spiro, a member of the freshman group, said that a ruling by the freshman dean's office would make the Jubilee Committee personally responsible for payment of the debt.

In a last minute attempt to take the Committee's finances out of the red, the Jubilee group has decided to allow upper-classmen to attend its Friday night dance-concert. Among the performers at the Union event will be Buck Clayton, Coleman Hawkins, and Milt Hinton.
