Robert Dorfman and James S. Duesenberry will be promoted to professorships in Economics, effective July 1, Dean Bundy has announced.
Dorfman is a mathematical economist, who has done research in linear programming, the theory of the firm, and the role of those over 65 in the labor force.
Duensenberry published his first work on "Income Saving and the Theory of Consumer Behavior" in 1949.
