Brown Extends Cuts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Brown University will grant free cuts to juniors and seniors on a trial basis next year, the college's administration announced recently. At present all students in good standing who are not on Dean's List are allowed only three cuts per course.

The change is an "outgrowth of requests" made by the Brown student council, and comes as a result of a new administration feeling that "juniors and seniors are handling themselves well in their studies," K. Roald Bergethon, Dean of the College, said.
