The varsity sailing team finished fifth with 148 points in the New England Junior Sailing Championships, held this weekend at Providence, R.I. The Crimson finished only four points behind Brown, the defending champion. M.I.T. won with 200 points.
The team was only five or six points away from third place on Saturday, when there was a good breeze, but the team slowed down yesterday, and finished last in three races.
