Varsity Tennis Team Will Oppose Big Red Tomorrow Afternoon

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With only two meets remaining before the important Yale match, the varsity tennis team will attempt to stay in shape in the face of oncoming exams and reading period assignments by playing what should be little more than a practice contest with Cornell tomorrow and another match against Penn this Tuesday, at Penn.

Unless coach Jack Barnaby makes some last minute, test-match changes this afternoon, Dale Junta will hold down the first singles spot, followed by Steve Gottlieb, Larry Sears, Ben Heckscher, Cal Place, and Phil Mills at the other five singles positions. Junta-Sears, Heckscher-Place, and Gottlieb-Ian Gianetti will be the Crimson's doubles teams.

The varsity will be hoping for a Yale upset over Princeton this weekend, for unless this happens, the varsity will have no hope of repeating as Eastern, Ivy and Big Three titlists, and then only in a tie with the Tigers.
