Golfers Lose Two At Princeton, Penn

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Pennsylvania narrowly edged the Crimson golf squad Friday, 4 to 3, and Princeton handily beat the varsity, 7 to 0, on Saturday.

The team returned from the southern trip with a record of two wins and three losses, but, according to coach Cooney Weiland, "the fellows are getting better all the time."

The contest at Penn was not decided until the twenty-second hole in the fourth match, but an able Princeton squad had little difficulty in defeating the Crimson on the Tiger course.

Playing first position for the varsity team during the trip was Bob Ornstein, the former captain, followed by Tom Wheeling, Frank Dodge, Warren Iliff, Jim Bailey, captain Lou Klein, and Bob Hoffsis.
