The Crimson golf team edged Amherst, 4 to 3, and easily defeated Tufts, 5 1/2 to 1 1/2, in a triangular match yesterday at South Hadley, Mass.
Tom Wheeling, number one man on the Crimson squad, defeated his opponents from both Tufts and Amherst, as did James Bailey and Perry Driggs. Varsity captain Lou Klein defeated his Amherst rival and tied his opponent from Tufts, while Bob Ornstein and Al Steinert defeated their Tufts rivals. Warren Iliff lost to his opponents.
