Professors to Visit Iron Curtain Lands

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two professors will travel to Iron Curtain countries this summer on funds provided by the Inter-University Committee on Travel Grants, the Russian Research Center announced recently.

Horace G. Lunt, II '41, associate professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures, will visit the Soviet Union, spending his time principally in Moscow and several other large cities.

Zbigniew K. Brzezinski, assistant professor of Government, plans a trip to Poland, his native country, where he will be especially interested in studying the political problems of the new Gomulka government. Brzezinski, who traveled in Soviet Russia last summer, advises students who may be going there this year to visit Leningrad and Tiflis, which he says are "freer and more open" than other Soviet cities.
