A Harvard senior has won a magazine contest for creative writing.

Joel H. Cohen '57 of Leverett House was awarded the monthly $100 prize by the national publication Escapade, a magazine for "men," for his short story "The Kiss." Escapade described the story as a "delicate and sensitive tale of adolescent love."

An article announcing the results of the contest said that Cohen's topic of young love was he most common among the entries.
