Sadruddin Khan '54, a first year student at the school of Middle Eastern studies and the second son of the Aga Khan, has asked for a leave of absence from the University in order to remain at the bedside of his gravely ill father in Cannes.
Khan is considered the most likely candidate to succeed his father as leader of the Ismaili Moslems. His older half-brother, Aly Khan, is reportedly not acceptable to them.
Also currently staying at the Aga's house in Cannes are his two grandsons, Karim '58 and Amin '59.
