Freshman 'B' Tennis Team Loses

Middlesex defeated the Harvard freshman "B" tennis team 5-4, at Concord, on Saturday.

Harvard won two of the three doubles matches, but of the six single matches Alan Wolf and Alan Blackmer, at second and third positions, were the only Crimson winners. Crocker Snow, a Middlesex senior, captured first singles, defeating Nick Wolf 6-1, 1-6, 6-0.

In the other singles, Moffet (M) defeated Peter Keyes (H), 6-2, 6-3; Lake (M) defeated Mike Humphreys (H), 6-2, 6-1; and Howell (M) beat Dave Luke (H), 6-4, 7-5.

In doubles, Snow and Ewart (M) defeated Alan Wolf and Blackmer (H), 6-4, 6-4; Keyes and Humphreys (H) defeated Lake and Moffett (M), 6-4, 5-7, 6-1; and Alec Bancroft and Pete Rient (H) won in straight sets over Weld and Field (M), 6-1, 6-1.
