NATO Officials Are Here Today For Symposium

Military officials from 12 NATO countries will gather here today for a visit to the University and a symposium in the afternoon at Sanders Theatre.

The officials are here in Boston to attend the Boston Regional Conference on NATO affairs to be held over this week-end.

The program at Sanders is entitled, "A Symposium on the Mission and Problems of NATO." W. Barton Leach, Story Professor of Law, will moderate the program at which Lieut. Gen. Leon W. Johnson, U.S. Air Force, will deliver the major address.

The group will include military personnel from the Netherlands, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States.

Admission to the symposium, which begins at 2:30 p.m. is by ticket only.
