Freshman Sextet To Meet Williams, Tries for 7th Win

A strong freshman hockey team will try for its seventh win of the season, against one loss, when it meets the Williams freshmen at Williamstown at four this afternoon. Fresh from a close 1 to 0 win over St. Pauls School, the Yardlings should have little trouble with the Eph freshmen.

Captain Jerry Emmet at number one will lead the Yardling squash team against a strong Exeter squad. Charlie Poletti will be at number two, while Al Vinton will play three, John Scullin four, and Nick Lamont will be at five. Exeter, generally tops among prep schools in squash, defeated the Yardlings last year.

The Andover freshman track team, which defeated the Yale freshmen by ten points early in January, will try to hand the Yardlings their second defeat of the season. The meet will begin at 1 p.m. this afternoon in the Andover cage.

The meet should be close, although having strengthened their field events, the freshmen now must rule slight favortes. The Yardlings' chief strength here lies in their three 21-foot Broad Jumpers, Ted Musgrove, Pat Liles, and Bob Downs and in their two fine high-jumpers, Dan DiBone and Cal Kean.
