Squash Team Tries For Eighth Triumph In M.I.T. Test Today

The varsity squash team will be looking for i eighth win of the season against five defeats when it opposes M.I.T. on the Engineers' home courts this afternoon.

The Crimson will probably not encounter too much opposition from the usually weak Tech squad, but it may have difficulty on the host's courts. They are much hotter than the Hemenway Courts, and if the Navy match is any indication, the varsity has a good deal of trouble with hot courts.

The best match of the day, and possibly of the year, will be Ben Heckscher's encounter with Juan Hermosilla, M.I.T.'s speedy number one player from South America. Last year Heckscher was forced to come from behind to defeat Hermosilla, and he will have to be at the top of his game to handle the Tech man tomorrow.

The usual lineup will see action for the Crimson, with Heckscher, Cal Place, Larry Sears, Charlie Hamm, Charlie Mac-Veagh, Henry Cortesi, Pete Lund, Ed Wadsworth, and Hank Holmes at first through ninth singles.
